Re: Renewal of License for Automated Compliance and Evaluation System (ACES2000)

Dear Mr. Bellezza:

This is to notify you that I am in the process of renewing our ACES2000 software license.

In seven years of running high-volume mortgage quality control departments I have never been compelled to write a letter such as this, but I wanted to let you know how happy I am with your ACES and DESC software.

Over the years, I have used software from other companies, but was sorely disappointed. The structure and constraints of their software forced me to run my QC department in a manner compatible with their software, rather than providing me with the set of tools that I needed to run my department the way that we wanted and needed it to run.

Old Kent began using ACES98 in 1998 and we subsequently purchased ACES2000 in July of 2000 to take advantage of the improvements to the software, specifically the reporting module. I have been impressed with both versions, which have proved to be well designed and very logical. Obviously, the company put serious thought into meeting the quality control needs of mortgage banks.

I have found both ACES and DESC to be easy-to-use. DESC has proved to be a major time and cost saving tool. Best of all, ACES gives me the freedom I needed to customize all of the key components involved in conducting our audits and meet the compliance needs of our company. The flexibility really makes a huge difference in running an efficient and effective QC department.

I am delighted with the help and support I am getting from EBS, but I can honestly say that it is your products have earned my complete loyalty.

EBS, your software products are great — there is not a thing I would change.
